Turn a corner in this great Australian city, and your eyes will no doubt great something of brilliant man-made beauty... the photos don't do justice to the city holding this year's Commenwealth games next month, but you get the idea...

This silver cubist form holds the state art collection... not quite as impressive as the Tate Modern, but then I'm probably biased!
